Chester branch has a section for younger members. This is an 18+ group run separately from the main branch. This group is for the young at heart and has been running for four years now. There is no upper limit age restriction, or reason why you cannot attend both meetings and all the other activities.

Young Arthritis Care Chester is run by our committee secretary Dawn. They meet every two, or sometimes three months, for coffee and lunch at a Chester City centre venue. Membership is constant and new members will be very welcome.

Dawn makes every effort to fit in with the busy lifestyle of the membership, and while most meetings are on Friday lunchtime different days and times can be arranged.

The meetings give younger members a chance to catch up, swap stories and make new friends, with people who understand their condition and can maybe pass on some advice. Dawn says ‘some lasting friendships have been made as a result of these meetings’. So why not give her a ring and see for yourself.
